Essie's Barefoot in Blue Nail Polish review

I received a bottle of this nail polish as part of a campaign to go barefoot on April 10, 2012 in conjuncture with raising awareness about kids who do not have proper footwear. I was honored to be part of this campaign and there was no excuse to *not* be barefoot that day.
This is a collaboration piece between Essie and Toms and for more details about the campaign, visit http://www.onedaywithoutshoes.com/

Now to the actual review, I thought it was quite good. Takes a good deal of two generous coats and the only complaint I had with it was that it was runny which meant the nail polish had a mind of its own so it took a lot of careful application to ensure that it was consistent on my fingers.

Nonetheless, a most beautiful summer color and I'd go through the effort to wear this again any day.

Buy or No Buy? No buy, this time. The application is too flaky to persist and there are many a nail polish color, Essie and otherwise, that are similar.
