When you've heard that there are no dyes and chemicals in a product line, only natural ingredients, that immediately excites me. One can never be too careful about treating your skin and your body, I'm learning more and more that it is a temple, we must treat it well.
So, of course, I was excited to try out Mia Mariu because I've heard about it for a while, but I've never managed to get my hands on it.

My take: You've been listening, haven't you? I'm a sucker for all things, eye makeup, so this was an easy default pick. I will start by saying I have no faith in pencil eyeliners, most eyeliners I've tried do not stick or last on my skin unless they're extremely dark or liquid. Therefore.
I was uncomfortably excited when I actually used this eyeliner, it showed on my Indian skin tone and it lasted.
Touche!
PS: I tried a wing look for my eyes, and it translated most perfectly indeed.

This was definitely exciting: I always aim to try something that I'm not comfortable with, so this was outside my comfort zone to be using a brush with my quick heading-to-work look. And this worked perfectly, I tried it on wet with the carbon loose mineral shadow liner (reviewed below) and it was sheer magic to make it in a consistency I wanted and to apply it seamlessly on my eyes.

My take:
I was excited to pick this product because I'm not a very loose powder person, I always prefer my products firm and straight forward, so this was one of my firsts. I absolutely loved this product, tried it on and it absolutely did not streak or cake my eyes and did last through an entire working day. Light weight and long lasting, what more could I ask for?
It didn't hurt that it came in a beautiful elegant pot that was extremely pretty to look at.
