My mailman giggled as he saw the excitement when I saw the package from BeautyBox 5!
BeautyBox 5 is a beautiful subscription box that is only $12.00 a month or $30.00 per quarter or $100.00 for a year! (I love that this option is available, some other subscription boxes don't allow you that luxury) It comes with a variety of sample size products and some full size products. These are well known and lesser known brands.
Looking at the products, I was immediately convinced this was one of the lesser acknowledged subscription boxes that definitely gave you much more than you were paying for, the lip glaze itself is worth $35.00 in Sephora, so for $12.00, you've already received way way more than you paid.
The other beautiful fact was that this is a surprise box that ships out the 15th of every month, which is definitely something I love!
Overall, an excellent subscription kit, one that I do not hesitate to recommend to friends and colleagues!
So without any further ado, my August box came with the following amazing products:
Pssst Instant Dry Shampoo:
Psst Instant Dry Shampoo refreshes and rejuvenates hair by soaking up excess oil, removing product build-up and boosting volume. By shampooing less it saves hair from heat styling damage. Hair looks, feels and smells freshly shampooed. It also helps preserves hair color by shampooing less.
Shake can well. Hold can 6" to 8" from hair. Lift sections of hair and lightly spray scalp and roots of each section. Fluff. Wait a few minutes, then brush hair well. Style hair as desired.
I was pleasantly surprised by its effectively, it definitely requires a good amount and the requirement that you use it throughout your hair and actually fluff it well, the smell is pleasant and something I'd love to keep whilst traveling.
Travalo with genie's refill:
This was by far, my best product in the lot.
What it is: a perfume refiller and it's as simple as inserting the bottle pump stick into the filler part of our small perfume bottle and you can refill this small travel perfume bottle to use on the go!
I absolutely adored the concept, such a totally ingenious idea and a beautiful amazing perfume bottle!

Blum naturals daily cleansing towelettes
I loved the fact that these towelettes were single use yet BeautyBox 5 was sensitive enough to include three of them. This towelette contains organic grape seed extract and they gently remove eye and face makeup and rehydrates for healthy looking skin.
Ellis Faas Lip Glaze
Comes in a beautiful color and though I've never heard of this brand, it beautifully complimented my face and my skin tone and I'm always up for a new lip glaze that does what it's supposed to!
Ferro Cosmetics sheer crystal veil:
A silk infused mineral highlighter that softly illuminates for glowing dewy skin. Sweep onto cheek and brow bones to highlight and illuminate. I use it under my eyes and it works brilliantly!
I tried it on my cheek and it definitely did improve the tone and texture of my skin. The only downside was that the contents were spilling out when I opened it tenderly and it did not come with an applicator of any sort.
